Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao
Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has kicked off ‘Scientists at the Doorsteps of Farmers’, a State-wide campaign at Vikarabad, where agricultural department officials, scientists, and extension officers will meet farmers in different parts of the State.
The Department has formed over 200 teams, with each team comprising four members, to prepare the farmers for the upcoming kharif season.
The teams will visit over 1,200 villages in different parts of the State from May 5 to June 13.
“They will educate the farmers on the efficient use of fertilisers and judicious use of pesticides,” a senior official said.
