Escalating frictions between India and Pakistan would weigh on Pakistan’s economic growth and could impair access to external financing, Moody’s Ratings said on Monday, as ties remained strained after an attack in Kashmir killed 26 people.

The ratings agency said persistent tensions could pressure Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves, though it does not expect a full-scale military conflict.
